Wii Family Party Review

Wii Family Party: 30 Great Games sounds like a great idea - 30 Wii games, and a bargain at that! To be fair, some people seem to love this, but more people just get frustrated.

For starters, considering it's supposedly a family game, it's too complicated for most kids. Hey, lots of adults find the games vague and confusing -even those who read the directions!

But hey, Wii Family Party has 30 games. Surely some of them must be cool?

Well, for starters  only about half of the games are available until you "unlock" the rest by playing skillfully. Some people report playing for weeks without successfully unlocking the rest of the games. And then there are numerous implementation issues -  many things just work in annoying ways, or at least ways that annoy many people.

It's a great idea, but not user friendly.

Pros: Wii Family Party gives you 30 games for great price. The games require some level of skill.

Cons: Not kid friendly. Most folks find Wii Family Party confusing and the directions vague.

Overall: Wii Family Party: 30 Great Games has a few fans but most people do NOT like these games. Sure, Wii Family Party is relatively cheap - under a buck a game. Maybe there is a reason for this?

Unless you try this and like it, and some people do, we suggest you skip it - most reviews are mixed at best and many people just don't like Wii Family Party at all!
